kristy and jeremy craig wedding + cake!
Here’s some pics from Jeremy and Kristy Craig tying the knot last night. The wedding was gorgeous, almost as beautiful as the bride herself. The cake was baked from scratch by my hubby, Jeff, and it turned out amazing. We decked it out in our vanilla buttercream with pale yellow piping borders and over 50 hand crafted sugar flowers in varying blues.

wanting to write a book
Posted by Sheri in Handicraft, News and Thoughts on November 17, 2010
So, I decided I would write a book about 30 minutes ago. I’ve decided this before, at least 5 times to be exact. I usually get about 5-10 pages done and decide something else catches my fancy. I’m pretty excited about this though, because B&N offers ebook listings for free. You do have to pay a commission, but no ISBN number is required. I would even be able to design my own cover! Needless to say, I’m super duper excited. I hope I can make it long enough without being worn out.
Updated the site

I’m so excited! I spent hours today updating my site! I really hope I can get it to what I want. Deleting my facebook seems to have some benefits. haha!
Also, relisted my paintings on etsy! Redid my banner, and was chosen for someone’s treasury in the first hour after listing. Been a productive day!
photography class

Just finished up my photography class for the art institute, and I have to say it was totally worth whatever my student loan payment is going to be. My hubby, Jeff, has been trying to teach me this stuff for months. For some reason, I refused to learn it until I had to. Now I have a beginner’s basic understanding of all the doo-hickies and contraptions found on our SLR. Here’s a few photos from my assignments:

If you are interested in a cake from me, I’d be more than happy to do a little sketch in illustrator to give you an idea of what it might look like with your color scheme and flowers/ribbons. Contact me if interested!

design principles g224 vbr postcard design

Design principles was one of the hardest classes I’ve had so far. Honestly, the only reason why is I couldn’t seem to find enough time to work on all the aspects of the project that I wanted. The final design turned out pretty good though, IMO.
